The Flag-raising Team of Sik Sik Yuen recently undertook another learning mission. Sixteen elite members from the Ho Ngai Branch visited the Ngong Shuen Chau Barracks of the People’s Liberation Army Hong Kong Garrison, where they toured the Garrison Exhibition Centre.

During the visit, team members gained in-depth insights into the distinguished history and solemn mission of the Hong Kong Garrison through various exhibits and professional explanations. The experience allowed students to observe first-hand displays that are usually only seen through the media, making the visit both meaningful and enlightening.

The visit not only broadened the students’ horizons, but also strengthened their sense of national identity and belonging. Team members expressed their determination to transform this experience into motivation, and to continue fulfilling their duties as flag bearers with dedication, discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility.
