The 31st Commendation Scheme for Teachers, organized by the Committee on Respect Our Teachers Campaign, aims to promote the spirit of respecting teachers and upholding educational values, while actively fostering a culture of “Respect Teachers, Care for Students.” Each year, secondary schools, primary schools, kindergartens, and special schools across Hong Kong are invited to participate. Every school may nominate up to two dedicated and outstanding teachers to receive recognition for their exemplary contributions to education.
This year, Vice Principal Mr. Wu Chun Ho and Ms. Wong Lai Ying have been nominated as our school’s most deserving teachers for commendation. Both educators have demonstrated outstanding performance in enhancing professional standards, showing dedication to teaching, caring for and nurturing students, and maintaining positive relationships with parents and the wider community. They not only excel in inspiring students to realise their full potential, but also serve as exemplary role models through their actions and character. At the “Salute to Teachers 2026 – Teachers’ Day Celebration” held on 12 September, they were awarded a Certificate of Commendation by the Secretary for Education and other officiating guests in recognition of their achievements.
The school extends its warmest congratulations to Vice Principal Mr. Wu Chun Ho and Ms. Wong Lai Ying. We sincerely thank them for continuously bringing warmth, passion, and strength to the teaching profession. Through their wisdom in inspiring young minds and adopting student-centred teaching approaches, they have provided invaluable guidance and encouragement to students throughout their growth journey. We hope that all staff members will take inspiration from their achievements, continue to work together with dedication and unity, remain steadfast in our educational mission, and nurture more talented young people of strong character and ability for the benefit of society.
