Department of Health’s “Joyful Fruit and Vegetable Month” Our School Wins the Continuous Participation School Award

The Department of Health recently held the Kick-off Ceremony and Award Presentation Ceremony of “Joyful Fruit and Vegetable Month” to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the campaign. The event recognised schools and organisations for their long-standing commitment to encouraging students to consume adequate fruits and vegetables daily, thereby fostering a healthy school environment.

Our school has participated in “Joyful Fruit and Vegetable Month” since its inception and has maintained continuous involvement for 20 consecutive years. Throughout the years, we has remained dedicated to promoting balanced diets and healthy lifestyles among students, growing alongside the campaign and embedding healthy eating habits within the school culture.

At this year’s award ceremony, our school was honoured with the Continuous Participation School Award, in recognition of its sustained support and active engagement in the initiative. The award was accepted on behalf of the school by Ms Ng Wing Yan, Panel Head of Technology and Living.

This recognition affirms the collective efforts of the school community over the past two decades. We sincerely thank all staff, students, and parents for their continued support and commitment. Let us continue to work together to promote healthy eating habits and embrace the message of “Eat Fruits and Vegetables Every Day for a Healthy and Happy Life.”
